Planning a fishing trip to Montana can feel overwhelming, but we're here to answer all your questions and ensure that you feel confident about your upcoming adventure. Full Day Trip
Cost: $700 (1 or 2 Anglers)
Length: Approximately 6-8 hours on the water. Our typical Full Day fly fishing trip involves meeting at 8am at a fly shop or at the boat ramp. We are usually off the water between 4PM and 5PM. This is a great option for anglers who want extra time on the water.
Deposit: $350 at the time of booking (Check Preferred).
The remaining balance for your trip is due on the day of the trip. We accept cash, check, all major credit cards or Zelle. All credit card transactions will be subject to a 3% processing fee.
What is included in your trip: Your guide will provide transportation to the river, river shuttle fees, rods, reels, flies, lunches, and non-alcoholic beverages.
What to bring: A rain jacket, extra layer, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a Montana fishing license. Fishing licenses can be purchased here or at any fly shop in Bozeman MT.
Gratuity: Not included in your bill but essential to your guide’s livelihood, tips are a meaningful way to show appreciation for their hard work. We recommend considering a tip of 20% or more for their dedication and effort.
Full Day Missouri River Trips: $725. Two-day minimum.
Half-Day Trip

Deposit: $275 at the time of booking (Check Preferred).

Frequently Asked Questions
Cancellation Policy
To secure your date and guide, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of your trip and can be paid via check or credit card.
Cancellations within 14 days: Deposits will be forfeited. Rescheduling within this period will incur a $100 rebooking fee.
Cancellations outside the 14-day window: Deposits will be fully refunded or credited toward a future trip.
We do not cancel trips due to weather.
Trip Insurance
We highly recommend trip insurance, especially for multi-day excursions. Coverage for a 5–6 day fishing trip is often available for as little as $100 through providers like Global Rescue. This small investment can provide peace of mind and protect your plans.
What’s Included in the Cost of the Trip?
We have no hidden fees. On a full-day trip, we provide all the flies, tackle, and equipment you’ll need, as well as lunch and transportation. The only additional costs are your fishing license and gratuity for your guide.

Where Can I Get My Montana Fishing License?
You can purchase your Montana fishing license online before your trip here or at any fly shop in the area. Please bring your license, or a picture of your license with you on the day of your trip.
How Can I Ensure a Great Day on the Water?
Communicating with your guide before your trip is a great way to ensure a great day on the water. Share your experience level, fishing preferences, any concerns, and goals for the day before the trip begins. If you need to be off the water at a specific time, let your guide know so they can plan the float accordingly.
What Kind of Trip Do You Recommend?
For new anglers, our Half-Day fly fishing trip is plenty of time on the water. Fly fishing your heart out for 4 hours provides amply opportunities and ensures that you have some energy left to enjoy your evening in Bozeman, MT! If you are looking for extra time on the water, our Full Day fly fishing trip is the one for you. We are more than happy to chat more about which trip is right for you and your family.
Where and When Do I Meet My Guide in the Morning?
Your guide can pick you up from your lodging, meet at a fly shop, or meet you at the boat ramp. Start times vary by season, so if you have a preferred start or end time, please let us know in advance. Again, communication with your fly fishing guide is important.
